Friendship's Test

Siris looks across the field at his old buddy C.T.G. "You think you're always right, don't ya?"

C.T.G. glares at Siris. "More right than you." C.T.G. slowly reaches for a weapon.

"Hold on now. Theres no reason to get into a big dispute here."

"So you're saying Im right."

"I didn't say that."

"But you ment it."

"No I didn't."

"Then what do you mean?"

"I don't know....."

"You must mean something." C.T.G. lowers his guard, knowing Siris was never much of a threat.

Siris watches his pal relax. "Well, as long as this doesn't result in some kind of fight."

"Yeah, that'd be suicide... for you."

"What? You saying I can't fight?"

"That's exactly what I mean."

"I can fight better than you."

"Oh yeah? ....Prove it."

"You asked for it." Siris quickly grabs the Ragnamop and readies it in front of him.

"Ha! No, you asked for it, buddy." C.T.G. puts his hand on the Master Sword's handle and pulls it from it's sheath. "It's about time we had a real battle."

"So be it..." Siris spins the Ragnamop around and starts a summon chant. "Ramuh!"

C.T.G. looks up as a cloud forms over the large, grassy field. A rather large human-looking form with a white beard drops down from it and holds of a long staff. A bolt of lightning shoots from it down at C.T.G. He quickly activates his shield and renders the bolt harmless as it smashes into it.

"You can't just block everything!" Siris begins another chant.

"Oh no you don't." C.T.G. teleports over to Siris and slashes at him. Siris stops the cast and quickly moves out of the way. "Hold still and let me hit you!"

Siris stops and throws up his Ragnamop to block an attack from C.T.G. They both lock for a second and glare at each other. Finally, Siris breaks off and jumps back. Knowing he needs time to do another summon, Siris runs to get some distance.

C.T.G., instead of chasing, pulls out his laser gun and shoots at Siris.

Again, Siris jumps out of the way and dodges each shot from C.T.G. "You're gonna have to do better than that!"

"I will..." C.T.G. takes his hat off his head and throws it at Siris.

"Ooo. It's the hat! Whats that supposed to do?"

Suddenly, 6 blades jut out from the hat's rim and begin spinning around. "That!"

"Oh..." Siris ducks as the hat flies right over him. It slowly spins around to hit him again and Siris take the time to cast another summon. "Carnbuckle!" A small cat-like animal pops up from a hole in the ground and spins around. A large ruby on it's forehead shines brightly and a reflector shield covers Siris. The hat hits him this time, but instead rockets straight at C.T.G.

"Hey! Thats not ment to happen!" C.T.G. jumps out of the way, but loses an arm. Wires and electricity show from the wound. "Thats gonna cost you a month's pay!"

"I don't get paid anyways."

C.T.G. picks up the arm and surges the two peice together quickly. "Well, either way, you're not getting any money."

"You're so cheap." Siris spins the Ragnamop around and yells off another summon. "Baham-!"

Before he can finish, C.T.G. teleports to Siris and shoves his sword into him. Siris drops the mop and falls to the ground. "Wow... that felt good." C.T.G. looks down at his bloody sword and walks away.

"Pheonix!" A loud voice yells out of nowhere. A large, rainbow colored bird flies by over head a sprinkles some kind of dust-like substance on Siris' body. It disappears and Siris rises to his head.

"Nice trick." C.T.G. smiles slightly at Siris. "I was expecting that."

"Heh. Good. I didn't want to disapoint you." Siris picks up the Ragnamop and steps back away from C.T.G. "This is getting boring, so..." Siris again spins his mop and casts another spell. "Knights of the Round!"

"What? Oh shit!" C.T.G. steps backwards as the field turns dark. A larger knight appears in front of C.T.G. and flies right towards him. It swings it's sword and lands a direct hit on him. 11 more knights appear and use an attack on C.T.G. Then, a very large knight appears and hit C.T.G. with a huge sword. The field turns back to the way it was and Siris comes into view again.

"I bet that hurt."

"Not... as much... as this will..." C.T.G. pushes a button inside his jacket and instantly, he blows up. The blast reaches Siris and sends him far away.

A few seconds pass and C.T.G. materializes next to Siris. He pulls a glass vial out of his jacket pocket and tosses it to him.

Siris drinks it and gets up, fully revived. "That was some trick."

"Yup, one of my best."

"So..." Siris looks around. "What do you want to do next?"

"I dunno..." C.T.G. puts his hands in his pockets. "Wanna go play Super Smash Brothers?"

"Sure."

"I thought so." C.T.G. and Siris slowly begin walking back to the store.

"You think you're always right."

"Yup."
